The Miss PYL Scholarship Organization

Throughout their reign, our titleholders serve as ambassadors for the communities of both Placentia and Yorba Linda. This becomes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not only earn college scholarships, but gain incredible personal growth, lifetime connections, networking, and both interview and social media skills. Once titled locally they advance to compete at state with the opportunity to advance to Miss America.

Our Competition

The Miss Placentia/Yorba Linda Scholarship Competition encompasses the teen competition as well and is a local preliminary to the Miss California and Miss America Scholarship Competitions.

Each qualified delegate competes in a private interview, an on-stage question, health & fitness, a performing arts talent/ HerStory, and evening wear.

We are proud of our over 50+ year history of serving the local community and providing hundreds of women with college scholarships.
