Paulina Dole, Miss Yorba Linda 2024, is a 4th year undergraduate student at California State University, Fullerton pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After she graduates in Spring 2025, her career ambition is to attend medical school and become a healthcare professional, potentially specializing in anesthesiology. As a tenacious biochemist, Paulina is on a mission to share her love for science with children through her Community Service Initiative, “STEMpowered: Encouraging Our Youth in STEM.” With this platform, she launched Paulina’s Wonder Lab to share easy, at-home experiments both in-person and online, and she has also partnered with the PYLUSD REACH Foundation to work directly with students in our local school district to teach about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Paulina has attended over 80 events, visited 18 classrooms, spoken with over 700 students, and reached over 15,000 online audience members during her reign so far. She believes that the joy of the crown is found in empowering others to live audaciously, to BE inspired and TO inspire, and be an advocate for all.

At Miss California 2024, Paulina was beyond honored and grateful to be a Top Twelve Semi-Finalist, Preliminary Talent Award winner, Preliminary Health and Fitness Award winner, and 3rd Place in Overall Program Book Ad Sales! With passion in her heart and hands, she performed Malagueña by Ernesto Lecuona on the piano for her talent.

Paulina has grown up in the Miss Placentia Yorba Linda Organization! From being a Miss PYL Little Sister and Miss California Little Sister to Teen Titleholder to now representing her hometown as a Miss Titleholder, she loves to share about how the Miss America Opportunity has transformed her life and how it has positively impacted so many others. 

Paulina is currently:

• Recipient of the California State University, Fullerton President’s Scholar Acadmic Scholarship

• President of the President Scholar Student Association (PSSA)

• President of the Student Health Professions Association (SHPA)

• Cabinet Member of the Chemistry & Biochemistry Club (CBC)

• Working in Dr. Stevan Pecic’s medicinal chemistry lab, with a focus on modifying Donepezil drugs as potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease
